1.  Manager, Communications – Good Samaritan Hospital, Baltimore MD (11/07/08)
Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining strategic hospital communications to inform and educate employees, physicians, patients and visitors and support our culture of quality and service excellence. Manages external communications for various service lines in order to develop volumes in key areas and referrals to key physicians.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communication, or Marketing; Master's degree preferred. 

Experience:

Minimum five (5) years experience in public relations/marketing; healthcare experience preferred.

Skills:

Comprehensive understanding of all aspects related to effective, strategic communication with an emphasis on writing, printing, publications design, photography, direct mail, and creative development.  A self-motivated, creative and energetic professional; a team player with ability to develop and maintain effective levels of communication with all levels of the organization; demonstrable project management, superb oral and written communication skills; familiarity with Adobe InDesign/Illustrator/Adobe Photoshop and Quark.
